Weekly Update 4

We had been facing a lot of issues with spam accounts and bots abusing our forms. This week was spent taking the appropriate security actions, installing the popular Wordfence and ReCaptcha plugins. This will benefit the entire network of sites to ensure no malicious code can get on the site.

Anyone with a Gemnode site wanting to protect their forms can sign up with Google ReCaptcha to set up their site details to get their own site and secret keys. These keys can be added to the Advanced Google ReCaptcha plugin found in their Gemnode Admin Dashboard. A full guide for how to do this will be created soon.
